About Me

For me, neon is far more than just a colour. Neon is a feeling. It stands for energy, vibrancy and the courage to be visible. In a world that is often grey, hectic and full of distractions, I want to use my colours to draw attention to what is otherwise easily overlooked.

Neon possesses a power that has fascinated me since the beginning of my artistic journey. These colours do not speak softly – they are present. They draw the eye, create tension and leave a lasting impression. It is precisely this intensity that makes neon an indispensable part of my art for me.

I believe art is allowed to stand out. It is allowed to surprise, irritate and trigger emotions. It doesn't have to please everyone, but it should stir something in us. This is exactly what I try to achieve with each of my works.

However, the special thing about my work only happens right at the very end. After casting with epoxy resin, curing, careful sanding and elaborate polishing, the neon colours unfold their full radiance. In this moment, the work changes completely once again. What previously seemed matte and reserved suddenly begins to glow intensely, develops an extraordinary depth and seems to shine from within. Every time this moment occurs, I feel the same excitement as the first time.

"Life needs more colours." For me, this sentence is far more than a motto. It describes my attitude towards life and my art. I want to create works that radiate energy, transform spaces and remind people that sometimes just a little more colour is enough to see the world through different eyes.
